Objects in the Drawing editor

In the Drawing Editor you can create rectangles, ellipses, and polygons. You must first select Object > Add > Drawing from the main menu or click the Drawing button to enter the editing mode. If you want to add an object to an existing Drawing object, select it and click the Editing Mode button on the Drawing Object Toolbar.

To create a Rectangle:

Click the Rectangle button. Click where you want a corner of the rectangle to be, and move the mouse holding down the left button releasing it where you want the diagonal corner to be.
Pressing SHIFT while drawing a rectangle creates a square.

To create an Ellipse:

Click the Ellipse button. Click where you want a corner of the bounding rectangle of the ellipse to be, and move the mouse holding down the left button releasing it where you want the diagonal corner to be.
Pressing SHIFT while drawing an ellipse creates a circle.

To create a Polygon:

Click the Polygon button. Click one after another where you want the vertices of the polygon to be. To end, double-click. A message box asks if you want to close the polygon. Click Yes to create closed polygon. The program joins the starting and ending points of the polygon. Click No to leave the polygon open.

Objects are created with the current Fill and Line Colors. Click corresponding arrow buttons to change the colors.

You can work with objects using their Nodes.
